Monthly meetings on the third Mondays, 7-8:30pm, 18+
Parenting as a queer or trans person can be joyful, complex, and sometimes isolating — especially when the world isn’t built with our families in mind. This peer-led support group offers a supportive space to connect with other 2SLGBTQIA+ parents and caregivers, share experiences, and find community.
Together, we’ll talk about the unique joys and challenges of parenting while navigating identity, relationships, and family systems. Whether you’re co-parenting, solo parenting, fostering, or just beginning your parenting journey, you’re welcome here.
We’ll focus on mutual support, validation, and building skills for balance and resilience — all in a space that celebrates the many ways queer and trans people create and care for families.
We meet on the 3rd Monday of every month from 7-8:30pm in person at the Salus Center. (If you are interested in participating virtually please send an email as we gauge interest and preferences for different meeting formats)
This group is for parents and caregivers who identify as 2SLGBTQIA+ themselves. If you are looking for support around raising a queer or trans child we encourage you to check out Here for You.
Unfortunately we are not able to offer childcare during this group. If you would need to bring your child with you in order to attend please reach out to discuss your needs.
